For 18 years, the Sanofi-Aventis BioTalent Challenge has encouraged young Canadians to pursue studies and careers in the exciting field of biotechnology. Students conduct research projects of their own design, working with mentors who provide expert advice and access to equipment and supplies. An active supporter of these activities, Dr. Barreto has been a member and Chair of the distinguished national panel that evaluates student research projects.
