VIDO-InterVac is a global leader in infectious disease research and vaccine development. Our research focuses on the mitigation of infectious diseases affecting human and animal health with the ultimate goal of providing solutions to problems faced by the global public health and livestock industries.
We conduct research from discovery through to preclinical (human) and full-clinical trials (animal), and have developed several vaccines and licensed numerous technologies to industry. Current research targets a wide range of viral, bacterial and prion diseases including zoonotic and emerging diseases, and includes animal model development, disease pathogenesis, antigen identification, and the development of novel adjuvants and delivery strategies that will improve vaccine formulation and delivery methods.
Our research is organized into the following programs:
- Bacterial Vaccine Development
- Viral Vaccine Development
