Jose Rodriguez

Dr. Jose F. Rodriguez joined VIDO’s senior leadership team in 2024 as the Director of Business Development. He is responsible for VIDO's business development strategies and partnerships within the human and animal health sectors. Dr. Rodriguez manages the out-licensing of VIDO’s technologies, the vaccine pipeline for commercial development, and contract research and contract manufacturing capabilities.

Prior to joining VIDO, Dr. Rodriguez worked for Elanco Animal Health where he held various positions spanning R&D to commercial and technical operations. This included the management of research and technical groups that developed and commercialized veterinary vaccines. During his tenure at Elanco, he developed strong collaborations with international research groups and academic institutions.

Dr. Rodriguez received his PhD in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba, and his BSc in Bacteriology and Medical Lab Technology at the Catholic University of Manizales, Colombia, S.A.
